Digital menus and table ordering in Kenya
A card on every table opens your menu. Change a price without reprinting, and let guests order straight to your kitchen. Table cards from KSh 2,000.
How a tap-to-order menu works
Each table gets a small card with a chip inside and a QR code printed on it. A guest holds their phone near the card and your menu opens on their screen, already set to that table.
On the ordering plan, they choose dishes and send the order from their own phone. It lands on your order screen with the table number, and they pay your staff exactly as they do today. No app, no waiting for a waiter to bring the menu, and no printed menu to go out of date.
What you get on the table
- One card per table, bar or counter
- Menu changes live the moment you save, on every card at once
- Guests order from their own phone, straight to your kitchen
- Printed QR code on every card for phones that cannot tap
- No money passes through us. Guests pay your staff as usual
Two plans, one fee for the whole restaurant
Cards are paid once. The monthly fee covers every table you have, whether that is five or fifty.

Send us your menu
In any form: a photo of the printed menu, a Word file or a WhatsApp message. We turn it into a menu that reads well on a phone.
Approve the proof
You check the menu and the card design before anything is printed. Each card is tied to one table, so every order arrives with its table number.
Start taking orders
We deliver the tested cards, set up a login for each member of staff, and show your team the order screen.
Better than what is on the table now
Versus a printed menu
A printed menu is wrong the moment a price moves, and right again only when you pay to reprint it. This is never wrong and never reprinted.
Versus a QR sticker
A code asks the guest to open a camera, frame it and wait. A tap needs no aim and works in low light. The QR is still there as a backup.
Versus an app
Nobody downloads a restaurant app for one meal. Your menu opens in the browser they already have.
Built for
- Restaurants that change prices or specials often
- Cafes where guests order quickly and want to stay seated
- Bars and lounges, where low light makes paper menus hard to read
- Hotels with room service, pool or rooftop menus
- Busy spots where waiters cannot reach every table at once
What your staff see
An order screen on any tablet or phone with internet. New orders arrive with the table number and an alert sound. Each person has their own login, so completed orders show who handled them, and removing a login signs that person out straight away.
Works on every guest's phone
iPhone XS and newer, and most Android phones, open the menu with a simple tap. Any other phone scans the QR code printed on the same card.
Across Nairobi and Kenya
We set up restaurants, cafes and bars in Westlands, Kilimani, Karen, Upper Hill, Kileleshwa, Lavington, Parklands and the CBD, with cards delivered for KSh 350. Elsewhere in Kenya, including Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and Eldoret, cards go by courier for KSh 500.
Digital menu questions
How much does a digital menu cost in Kenya?+
Table cards are KSh 2,000 each, and you can make an offer on ten or more. A PDF menu is KSh 1,000 a month, and an interactive menu with table ordering is KSh 5,000 a month. The monthly fee is one fee for the whole restaurant, however many tables you have.
Do guests need to download an app?+
No. The menu opens in the browser their phone already has. They tap the card, or scan the QR code printed on it, and the menu is on their screen.
How do guests pay?+
Exactly as they do today. Guests order from their phone and pay your staff as usual, by M-Pesa, card or cash. No money passes through GetNFC.
Can I change prices and dishes myself?+
Yes. Edit dishes, photos and prices from your account, or send the changes to us. Changes go live on every table as soon as they are saved, with nothing reprinted.
What do I need to receive orders?+
A tablet or phone with internet, kept on and with the sound up. Orders appear on your order screen with the table number. Each staff member gets their own login, so you can see who handled which order.
Is an NFC menu better than a QR code menu?+
A tap needs no camera, no aiming and works in low light, so it is quicker for guests. Every GetNFC table card also carries a printed QR code, so you get both on one card.
How long does setup take?+
Usually a few working days from the moment you approve the proof. Send your menu in any form, even a photo of the printed one, and we build it and print a card for each table.
Do you set up restaurants outside Nairobi?+
Yes. Cards are delivered for KSh 350 within Nairobi and KSh 500 by courier anywhere else in Kenya, and the menu itself works the same everywhere.
