Using your card.
Everything you need after the cards arrive. Short, because there is not much to it.
Where to hold the phone
The aerial is not in the middle of the phone. On most Android phones it sits near the top of the back. On an iPhone it is at the very top, near the cameras. Hold that part of the phone against the card and give it a second.
Nothing happens
Move the phone slightly and wait a moment. If still nothing, check NFC is switched on: on Android it is in Settings under Connected devices or Connections. iPhones have it on always.
A thick case
Most cases are fine. A very thick case, a metal one, or a wallet case with cards in it can block the read. Take it out of the case and try again.
An older phone
Some older phones have no NFC at all. That is what the printed QR code on the card is for. Open the camera, point it at the code, tap the link that appears.
Changing what is on your page
Send us the change
WhatsApp is easiest. A photo of a marked-up menu works as well as a typed list. Tell us what is going and what is replacing it.
It goes live the same day
Usually within a few hours. Every card you have already handed out follows the change, because the cards point at the page rather than holding a copy of it.
Pointing a card somewhere new
The same physical card can be sent to a completely different page. Useful if you rebrand, or if a card moves from one member of staff to another.
Lost or damaged cards
Tell us and we will make a replacement. If a card is lost and you are worried about it, we can point it at nothing so it stops opening anything.
Still stuck?
Message us on WhatsApp. That is the fastest way to reach a person, and it is usually the same day.
